Noninvasive contouring devices improve the appearance of the body by removing excess fat tissue, especially in areas where fat remains despite a healthy diet and exercise program. The technology can also be used to tighten the skin. This article reviews five noninvasive body contouring methods that have been approved by the FDA:<\/p><p>1. Cryolipolysis<\/p><p>2. Laser<\/p><p>3. High-intensity electromagnetic field<\/p><p>4. Radiofrequency<\/p><p>5. Although their results are not comparable to liposuction, they are an attractive option for patients who do not want to face the risks or costs of surgery.
